Active Ingredients:
Each 5 ml ampule contains:
Tranexamic acid ………… 500 mg

Uses / Indications: To treat Hemorrhage caused by general or local fibrinolysis.

Benefits: Tranza reduces conversion of plasminogen to plasmin, preventing fibrin degradation and preserving the framework of fibrin’s matrix structure

Dosage and Administration:
As prescribed by physicians.

Tranza – Tranexamic Acid

Indications:
Surgical / Post-operative hemorrhage
Menorrhagia and Intermenstrual bleeding
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Hemorrhagic urinary bleeding
Hemorrhagic complications in association with thrombolytic therapy

Dosage and Administration
Adult
Local Fibrinolysis:
5-10ml (500-1000mg) by slow I.V Injection (1ml/min), 2-3 times a day.

General Fibrinolysis:
body weight

Paediatrics:
From one year for the current approved indications, the dosage is 20mg/kg/day.
Renal Failure:
Due to the risk of accumulation, the dose should be reduced according to the following table:

  120-249 mcmol/I   10mg/kg   BW every 12 hours
  250-500mcmol/I   10mg/kg   BW every 24 hours
  >500mcmol/I   5mg/kg   BW every 24 hours
