Properties: Mypyramine Maleate is a competitive inhibitor at H1 tissue cell histaminic receptors. It attaches with great affinity to histamine receptors, preventing the untoward effects of histamine release. The binding of mepyramine to cell receptors evokes no direct cellular reaction. Mepyramine also haxs some antiserotonin properties.
